About this Position

We are looking for a Logistics & Export Specialist to manage export operations, transportation execution, and international logistics activities across the Caribbean region. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and compliant deliveries while maintaining strong collaboration with customers, carriers, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholders.

The idóneo candidate will have experience in international trade, hazardous materials transportation, export documentation, and transportation management processes.

What you´ll do

- Coordinate and execute intercompany export operations.
- Manage transportation planning through the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Create and maintain shipping and delivery documentation.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and foreign trade requirements.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers.
- Monitor transportation execution and follow up on delivery performance.
- Act as the main point of contact for transportation incidents and shipment disruptions.
- Support final customers, distributors, and sales teams located in the Caribbean region.
- Manage freight quotations, transportation bids, rate negotiations, and carrier selection.
- Review and correct freight and transportation costs within the system.
- Maintain compliance with hazardous materials transportation requirements.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries.
- Lead and support transportation and logistics continuous improvement projects.
- Analyze transportation performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop reports and dashboards using SAP and Power BI.





What makes you a good fit

- 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Import/Export or Supply Chain roles.
- Experience managing export operations, international shipments, and 3PL providers.
- Knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, maritime transportation, and hazardous materials handling.
- Experience with freight negotiations, quotations, transportation planning, and logistics vendors.
- Proficiency in SAP and Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- Intermediate English level or above.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, customer orientation, and continuous improvement mindset.
