Role Description The IT Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Guadalajara, JAL, responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure and user environments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network performance, installing and configuring hardware and software, and performing routine system maintenance and updates. The person in this role will troubleshoot technical issues, respond to support tickets, and provide user assistance to ensure minimal downtime and high productivity.

The IT Specialist will also help implement and maintain security measures, document IT procedures,



and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve systems and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Information Technology and general IT support, including hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Experience in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization of network devices and services.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting technical issues across workstations, servers, and network components.
- Knowledge of Network Security best practices, including access control, patch management, and incident response.
- Customer Service skills for providing clear, patient, and solution-oriented support to internal users.
- Familiarity with common enterprise tools (e.g., Windows, Linux, office productivity suites, ticketing systems).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical certification(s) (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA) or equivalent experience are beneficial.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
