Job Purpose (Summary / One – Line Description):The Technical Marketing Specialist – Special Applications will serve as the interface between commercial, technical, and product development teams to drive growth in the home care and special applications segments.
This role combines strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify opportunities, position products effectively, and deliver value to customers through innovative solutions and application support.Qualification:Develop and execute marketing strategies for pigments and home care applications, aligned with business objectives.Develops and offers appropriate colorant recommendations for customers' formulationsDevelops and maintains application specific test methods & and define Spec rangesSupports/coordinates product and application development tasks of general tech.
application center networkTranslates customer and regulatory requirements into product and service ideasSupports in problem solving in regard to complaints and quality related issuesProvide technical expertise to support sales teams in customer engagements, product positioning, and solution selling.Translate market trends and customer needs into actionable insights for product development and innovation pipelines.Prepare marketing materials, technical presentations,



and product documentation to support commercial activities.Partner with R&D; and application labs to test and validate performance of products in customer-relevant conditions.Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.Support key customer projects with technical guidance, troubleshooting, and application recommendations.Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, R&D;, Supply Chain, Regulatory) to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums to strengthen brand positioning in target markets.Skillsets (Technical/Behavioural):Technical:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or related field.3–5 years of experience in technical marketing, product management, or application development, preferably in special applications (home care, agro, automotive)Strong understanding of pigment chemistry, color science, and pigments formulations.Proven experience in customer-facing roles with a commercial focus.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a business-oriented manner.Strong project management and analytical skills.Willingness to travel for customer visits, industry events, and cross-functional collaborationBehavioural:Market- and customer-oriented mindsetStrong technical and problem-solving skillsAbility to bridge technical expertise with commercial strategyProactive, innovative, and adaptableStrong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills#J-*****-Ljbffr
