Payroll Consultant

EY Mexico is looking for talented professionals to join our team as a Payroll Consultant in CDMX This position offers the opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to regulatory compliance and service quality in a dynamic environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Experience in payroll administration, tax calculations, and related compliance obligations.
- Experience using payroll and HCM systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle, CONTPAQi, or similar platforms).
- Advanced Excel skills.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

- Experience managing medium- and high-volume payroll processes.
- Knowledge of payroll calculations, income tax (ISR), social security contributions (IMSS), and housing fund obligations (INFONAVIT).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and confidentiality.
- Ability to resolve payroll issues and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, including year-end payroll activities.
- Validate payroll updates, transactions, deductions, tax calculations, and payroll records.
- Review reports, reconciliations, and calculations related to payroll tax obligations.
- Investigate and resolve payroll inquiries or discrepancies through timely analysis of information.





- Participate in special projects and support initiatives related to compliance and process improvement.
