We are currently seeking a L2 JAVA Support Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced L2 Application Support Engineer with a strong background in Java, Unix, and SQL. In this role, you will support product servers and clients on cutting‑edge platforms, collaborate with global cross‑functional teams, and contribute directly to our continuous delivery and system performance enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Issue Resolution: Actively provide tier‑2 support for complex production issues, delivering detailed technical analysis and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Bug Fixes & Testing: Assist with code fixes and execute rigorous testing to ensure stability before deployment.
- System Maintenance: Support product servers and client platforms on advanced infrastructure.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to CI/CD workflows and focus daily on enhancing application performance and operational efficiency.




- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a regional and general team setup, providing valuable technical feedback and support to Core Development teams.
- Incident Management: Implement definitive corrective actions for production environment issues to prevent recurrence.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in application maintenance and production support roles.
- Database & OS: Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and writing advanced SQL queries.
- Scripting & Automation: Proven knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, or Bash).
- Core Technical Skills: Practical programming knowledge in Java and experience debugging Java‑based applications.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take ownership and lead initiatives in a global workspace.
