Job Summary
The Design Engineer (Electronic/Electrical)
will be responsible for product design and development from concept through production, primarily supporting LED Drivers, ECG and LE products. The role covers new product development, sustaining engineering, product improvements, cost reduction, and resolution of field problems. The engineer will also lead prototyping, testing, verification, and product development projects.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
• Design and development of Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).
• Component selection and qualification.
• Development and management of schematics, layouts, BOMs, Engineering Change Notices and engineering specifications.
• Electrical, thermal, EMI, mechanical and environmental qualification testing.
• Prototyping and sample assembly.
• Troubleshooting part and assembly issues with Manufacturing.
• Participation in Stage Gate / Product Development processes.
• Development of concepts for new products.
