Job Description
• Creates logistics concept (outbound, packaging, ADC, etc.) and calculates logistics costs (freight costs, packaging costs, ADC costs etc.) to support customer RFQ process
• Designs and implements logistics concept for awarded customer projects (outbound, packaging, ADC, emergency concepts, customs etc.)
in cooperation with plants and other departments
• Designs and implements processes in Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) incl. implementation with 3PL (logistic service provider) in cooperation with plants and other department
• Calculates and updates logistics costs for nominated customer projects over its life-time
• Contributes to negotiations of Logistics agreements with customers and suppliers for customer projects (e.g. flexibility agreement)
• Adapts and implements logistics concept changes during series phase incl. cost calculations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain / Value Chain Management in automotive/harness environment.
• Strong knowledge of KPI management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
