The Accounts Payable Analyst I is responsible for supporting the accounts payable process by ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment transactions, and account reconciliations. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Responsabilidades

Mains Responsibilities:

• Review, validate, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.

• Perform three-way matching between purchase orders, receiving documents, and supplier invoices.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve invoice discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or purchase orders.

• Assist with vendor account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment-related issues.

• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.

• Support weekly payment processing and ensure compliance with established payment terms.

• Assist with month-end closing activities,



including accruals and reconciliations.

• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on pending approvals.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.

• Prepare accounts payable reports and analyze discrepancies.

• Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, and Finance teams to ensure accurate invoice processing.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance preferred.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.

• Understanding of three-way matching procedures.

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems preferred.
