We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, project budget management, and accounting operations within a clinical research environment. In this role, you will serve as a strategic financial partner to project teams, helping ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget oversight, and sound revenue recognition throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. You will combine project financial analysis with general ledger accounting and month-end closing responsibilities. Working closely with operational leaders and finance professionals, you will analyze financial performance, identify budget variances, and support contract and change order reviews. You will also contribute to improving financial processes, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing reporting accuracy.

Accountabilities

• Provide comprehensive financial support to project teams throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, including project budgeting, financial monitoring, forecasting, and performance analysis.

• Prepare monthly invoicing worksheets that serve as the foundation for client invoicing and revenue recognition, ensuring financial information is accurate and complete.

• Conduct variance analyses comparing forecasted revenue with vigente results to identify discrepancies, scope changes, emerging risks, and opportunities for corrective action.

• Review work orders, project budgets, and change order budgets against actual project activities to identify out-of-scope work and potential financial impacts.
