Role Description

Distribution Center Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in León, GUA. This role oversees all daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The manager is responsible for planning workloads, assigning tasks, and supervising staff performance, while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance with internal procedures. The role involves analyzing logistics and inventory data, optimizing warehouse layout and processes, and coordinating closely with purchasing, sales, and transportation to meet service and cost objectives.



Distribution Center Manager also prepares operational reports, manages budgets, supports implementation of new systems or tools, and leads continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics management, including leadership of operational teams.
- Strong skills in inventory control, order fulfillment processes, and basic supply chain management.
- Ability to analyze operational data, prepare reports, and use metrics to improve performance.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP tools, and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, documents).
- Demonstrated people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and performance follow-up.
- Solid organizational and planning abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and process discipline.
- Relevant technical or university studies in logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in on-site roles within manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations is an advantage.
