Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

- Execute procurement strategies for assigned categories.
- Manage supplier relationships,



ensuring performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
- Conduct negotiations to optimize contracts and reduce costs.
- Monitor categories spend and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Support initiatives for supplier innovation and risk assessment.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and improvements.
- Assist in developing category plans with senior leadership.
- Implement process improvements to streamline procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for category alignment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in category management or procurement.
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and supplier performance metrics.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and data management software.
- Experience with Direct and Indirect Materials
