Position Objective

Lead Junior High students in the development of French language proficiency and Social Studies competencies through engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences. The teacher will foster intercultural understanding, critical thinking, and general awareness while supporting students in achieving academic excellence and preparing for official French language certification.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in French Language Teaching, Modern Languages, Education, International Studies, History, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum French proficiency level C1 certified.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
- Experience preparing students for official French certification exams (DELF preferred).
- Knowledge of student-centered and inquiry-based teaching methodologies.

Responsibilities





- Teach French Language Acquisition courses for students in Grades 7–9.
- Prepare students for official French language certification examinations (DELF).
- Foster authentic communication in French and encourage language production through speaking, writing, reading, and listening activities.
- Teach Social Studies courses using active learning methodologies that promote critical thinking, research, and global citizenship.
- Maintain accurate academic records, assessments, and communication with families through institutional platforms.
