The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for efficiently managing and executing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines, accurate payment reconciliations, and optimal use of financial resources.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:
• Validate, process, and record all vendor invoices and other payments in the accounting system.
• Ensure all invoices are reviewed and approved according to established procedures.
• Keep the accounts payable system in SAP and other related systems up to date.

Reconciliations and Analysis:
• Perform periodic reconciliations between accounts payable and vendors.
• Analyze outstanding accounts to identify potential errors, discrepancies, or duplicates.
• Generate periodic reports on the status of accounts payable to support decision-making.

Vendor Relations:
• Address and resolve any queries or issues related to vendor payments and invoices.
• Maintain open communication with vendors to ensure timely payment processing and accurate application.

Compliance and Internal Controls:




• Adhere to internal policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax and accounting regulations.
• Assist in both internal and external audits of accounts payable.

Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce processing time.
• Propose enhancements for optimizing workflows and utilizing new technologies in the financial department.

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree: Finance or Accounting Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in large-sized companies.
• Experience with SAP, particularly with financial modules related to accounts payable. MIRO – FB60 – Material management.
• Technical knowledge: SAP, CFDI 4.0, Excel.
