Senior Planner
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join the production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations by effectively managing production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation. You will leverage your analytical skills and industry knowledge to optimize the manufacturing process and support our commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory targets
• Supports development and implementations of best & standardized Master Scheduling practices while monitoring execution across all planning resources
• Responsible for data and process analysis in support of strategy development, measurement and controls implementation that result in successful customer service, Inventory reduction and on time delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials
• Adjust schedules based on capacity, material constraints,
and customer priorities.
• Analyze data, KPIs, sales forecasts, and historical trends to predict needs, identify constraints, and plan capacity
• Manage inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete materials through proper MRP execution.
• Generate and analyze Epicor reports related to on-time delivery, job performance, and inventory turns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline operations
• Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review production plans, resolve issues, and adjust priorities as necessary
• Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, production progress, and resource utilization
