About CAMPILLO

CAMPILLO is a Mexican luxury fashion house founded and led by designer Patricio Campillo.

Rooted in Mexican cultural heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary design, CAMPILLO is entering a new stage of growth and international development. As the company expands its commercial reach, production capabilities and integral presence, we are strengthening the operational infrastructure required to support the next phase of the business.

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Director of Business Operations who can become the operational backbone of the company and build the systems, processes and organizational structure necessary for CAMPILLO to scale while preserving the creative, artisanal and human qualities that define the brand.

The Role

We are looking for a builder and operator: someone who is equally comfortable developing a financial model, solving a production issue, structuring a workflow, leading a team and having a strategic conversation with the Founder.

The COO will be responsible for integrating the day-to-day operations of the business and creating an organization that is structured, accountable, financially disciplined and operationally autonomous.

Working closely with the Founder, the COO will translate the company's creative and strategic vision into executable business plans, processes, priorities, timelines and measurable results.

Business Operations & Leadership

- Establish clear responsibilities,

decision-making processes and measurable objectives while strengthening team ownership and autonomy.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, improve cross-functional collaboration and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Financial Performance & Business Management

- Build clear visibility into product costing, margins, profitability, budgets and cash flow.
- Develop management reporting and financial analysis to support planning and decision-making alongside the Founder and external accounting partners.
- Identify financial risks, efficiency opportunities and actions to improve overall business performance.

Production, Supply Chain & Commercial Integration

- Connect commercial demand across Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale and MTO / Custom with production capacity, inventory, purchasing and financial requirements.
- Oversee production planning, suppliers, costing, quality, inventory and delivery commitments.
- Improve efficiency, lead times and cost control while protecting CAMPILLO’s creative standards, craftsmanship and product quality.

MTO / Custom / Special Projects

- Professionalize MTO, Custom and Special Projects from commercial inquiry through production and final delivery.
- Establish clear documentation, approval processes and coordination across client requirements, materials, pricing,

margins and timelines.
- Monitor profitability, quality and delivery performance while ensuring complete and accurate information before production begins.

Systems, Processes & Reporting

- Build scalable workflows, SOPs and management systems across critical areas of the business.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards and reporting that provide clear visibility into operational and commercial performance.
- Improve data quality, automation and processes to enable faster, more informed decision-making.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
- Experience in fashion, luxury, premium consumer goods, accessories or a closely related product business.
- Strong exposure to operations, production, supply chain and/or business management.
- Demonstrated understanding of P&L;, costing, gross margin, budgeting and cash flow.
- Experience managing suppliers, production partners and inventory.
- Experience building or professionalizing processes in a growing organization.
- Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel / financial modeling skills.
- Excellent English; Spanish is highly desirable.
- International exposure and comfort working across Mexico, Europe and the US.
- Strong project-management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively with creative teams.
- Low ego, high agency: willing to get into operational detail while maintaining strategic perspective.

Compensation: MXN $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
