About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support a high-traffic, live production platform. The role focuses on troubleshooting production issues, resolving technical incidents, and maintaining system reliability. The idóneo candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of issues from investigation through code changes and deployment.
Must-Have Skills
• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot expertise (top priority).
• Python/Django as a secondary skill set.
• React, Kafka, and GraphQL.
• SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Build, deployment, and production troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with at least one of: Dagster, Data Lakes,
or Amazon Athena.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within established SLAs.
• Collaborate with Support and GTM teams to triage incidents.
• Implement code changes, manage merges, and deploy fixes.
• Monitor system performance and support integrations and architecture changes.
Nice to Have
• Experience collaborating with Product and GTM teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
