Rate best we have $40 per hour USD without any benefit The Enterprise Architect provides strategic leadership in the design, documentation, and governance of the enterprise technology landscape.

This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that architectural standards facilitate scalable, secure, and performant solutions. The candidate will drive technical authority for architecture, design, and enterprise integration—with a strong focus on modernizing and governing our enterprise API ecosystem using the Microsoft Azure Integration Services stack alongside multi-cloud architectures.

Technical & Functional Skills

Core Technical Expertise

- Azure API & Integration Tool Stack (Primary Focus):
- API Gateway & Governance: Deep hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) (custom policies, developer portal, API security, token validation, rate-limiting, and lifecycle management).
- Messaging & Event Streaming: Advanced design using Azure Service Bus , Azure Event Grid , and Azure Event Hubs for asynchronous and event-driven patterns.
- Serverless & Orchestration: Expertise in Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions for microservice and enterprise workflow orchestration.
- Security & Edge: Integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , Azure Key Vault , Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) , and Azure Front Door / Private Endpoints .
- Cloud Architecture & Multi-Cloud:
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure alongside strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud platforms ; ability to design, deploy, and manage secure, cost-efficient, and multi-cloud architectures.
- Development Proficiency:




- Advanced background in software engineering across Java and .NET ecosystems (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC).
- Database & Data Management:
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data flows across relational (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and non-relational/NoSQL databases.
- DevOps & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines ( Azure DevOps , GitHub Actions , JIRA , Confluence ) and IaC (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).

Architectural Competencies
- Proficiency in enterprise modeling and visualization tools (e.g., Visio, BizzDesign, Archi).
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and the ability to define domain-specific architecture blueprints.
- Proven track record in enterprise-level legacy system modernization and managing large-scale distributed applications.

- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex technical topics for diverse business and technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of building executive-level PowerPoint presentations and strategic briefs.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Architecture & Enterprise Integration
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide integration architecture, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals, IT strategy, and cloud adoption.
- Architect and govern end-to-end API management strategies, API-first patterns,



microservices, and event-driven architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Define target-state architectures, integration blueprints, and technology roadmaps to ensure scalability, resilience, security, and performance.
- Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards, guidelines, OpenAPI specifications, and a library of reusable design patterns.

Technical Governance & Compliance
- Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and serve as the final technical authority for architectural decisions, system blueprints, and platform governance.
- Track solution design submissions, architectural decisions, and exceptions, ensuring all designs align with the enterprise landscape.
- Ensure integration and cloud solutions comply with security policies, regulatory frameworks, identity standards, and architectural best practices.

Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with business analysts, engineering leads, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into actionable high-level technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance, domain expertise, and mentorship to software engineers, solution architects, and integration teams.
- Draft executive summaries, architecture decision records (ADRs), status reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

Research & Innovation
- Conduct research on emerging technologies (e.g., Cloud, AI/ML, Modern API Standards, Event Streaming), summarizing findings into actionable recommendation notes and proofs of concept (PoCs).
- Evaluate new tools, third-party platforms, and cloud services to modernize legacy systems and drive enterprise continuous innovation.
