The Role:
As an Accountant at Shannon Property Management, you will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of our high-end residential properties. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The idóneo candidate will have a solid background in property management accounting, a strong understanding of industry-specific software, and a detail-oriented approach to their work.

What We’re Looking For:




• 1–3 years of experience in property management, accounting, or general accounting/finance experience, with a willingness to learn our industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency with accounting software (AppFolio & QuickBooks preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting processes
• High degree of accuracy, organization, and accountability
• Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks

Preferred:
• Experience supporting multiple properties or accounts simultaneously
• Prior use of AppFolio, other CRM/property management platforms

What You’ll Do:
• Perform accounting tasks for a portfolio of high-end residential rental properties
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records
• Enter and verify general ledger transactions
• Perform routine bank reconciliations and ensure alignment
