As a Body Design & Release Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release of body components and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and development of body systems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the design and release processes.

Responsibilities




The Body D&R; Engineer is responsible for the component and system level design, development, validation, timing and production release of the following areas:
- Vision Body-In-White components:
- Underbody
- Upperbody

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the design, development, and release of BIW upper body components and subassemblies / Lead the development and release of BIW underbody stampings and assemblies.
- This includes parametric modeling using NX.
- Work with external suppliers, internal stamping plants, and vehicle plant body shop to ensure manufacturability, cost, and material performance meet project milestones and vehicle functional objectives.
- Develop and manage CBOM and Quadris for subassemblies.
- Create Source Package technical documentation and manage technical reviews with the suppliers and internal Client teams.
- Define and track engineering validation plans (DVP&R;, DFMEA, PFMEA) a
