About the Role
We are seeking an Advanced Engineering Specialist – Logistics Innovation to identify, evaluate, and validate innovative logistics technologies and material flow solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce indirect labor, and strengthen manufacturing competitiveness.
This role will work across Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and external technology partners to develop future-state logistics concepts and build capabilities aligned with Metalsa’s Frame 2.0 strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate logistics automation, advanced material handling technologies, and innovative material flow concepts.
• Develop future-state logistics and material flow solutions focused on safety, productivity,



flexibility, and scalability.
• Build business cases considering CAPEX, OPEX, ROI, productivity, labor reduction, inventory, and operational benefits.
• Scout and benchmark emerging technologies, including AMRs, AGVs, autonomous material handling, WMS, and automated delivery systems.
• Lead proof-of-concept and pilot validation activities, defining success criteria and business case assumptions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Advanced Manufacturing, suppliers, and technology partners to validate and deploy new solutions.

What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Supply Chain Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing Logistics, Material Handling, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Automation, or Warehouse Operations.
