About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, assertive attorney with 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil and commercial litigation. The adecuado candidate is a strong negotiator who independently moves cases forward and pursues practical results through settlement, litigation, enforcement, and collection.
Litigation and fund recovery are the primary focus. Experience in real estate transactions and probate or succession matters is an additional advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently manage real estate disputes involving developer breaches, delayed or failed projects, purchase agreement disputes, and refund claims.
• Assess evidence, legal options, recovery prospects, and the economic viability of each matter.
• Develop and execute strategies covering demand letters, negotiation, litigation, and enforcement.
• Negotiate enforceable settlements and follow through on payment obligations.
• Pursue civil and commercial proceedings through judgment, enforcement, and collection.
• Conduct or coordinate lawful asset investigations and pursue appropriate precautionary measures.




• Handle PROFECO complaints involving real estate developers.
• Handle or coordinate juicio de amparo where relevant to civil or commercial disputes.
• Communicate directly with US and Canadian clients in English, explaining progress, risks, and next steps.
• Coordinate with local counsel and other professionals across Mexico.
• Support real estate transactions and probate or succession matters.

Required Qualifications
• Mexican law degree and valid cédula profesional.
• 5–7 years of relevant civil or commercial litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience obtaining settlements and judgments and successfully collecting funds.
• Knowledge of precautionary measures, asset investigations, and enforcement procedures.
• Experience with real estate developer disputes and PROFECO proceedings.
• Experience handling or coordinating relevant amparo proceedings.
