Role Description The In-House Accountant (Educational Sector) is a full-time, on-site role based in Zibatá, Querétaro. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing periodic financial statements and reports.




Key Responsabilities:
• Accounting & Reporting: Perform full-cycle accounting using CONTPAQi (income, expense, and journal vouchers), complete monthly bank reconciliations, and prepare monthly/annual financial statements.
• Tax Compliance: Calculate and file provisional and annual tax returns (ISR, IVA), DIOT, and electronic accounting. Manage CFDI issuance, including tuition fee tax complements (IEDU).
• Revenue & Expenses: Monitor incoming tuition fees, enrollment, and other collections; reconcile against accounts receivable and bank records. Handle accounts payable, vendor management, and expense tracking.
• Payroll & Social Security: Process payroll and stamp payroll CFDI receipts. Calculate social security contributions (IMSS, RCV, INFONAVIT), process affiliation updates via SUA/IDSE, and submit state payroll tax (ISN) to the State Government of Querétaro.
