As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be the internal voice and advocate of KEMET’s end customers concerning product quality issues related to assigned product lines and applications. Ensures timely, professional, and effective responses that meet customer requirements and business expectations. This role is authorized to halt production whenever a condition is identified that could pose a risk to employee safety or the environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Guadalupe, NL plant.





Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, chemical, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably within a quality function.

Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the analysis of customer complaints.
• Monitor and verify corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a zero-defect mindset.
• Ensure timely completion of customer corrective actions by implementing solutions and providing responses within 10 days or less.
• Prepare interim and final corrective and/or preventive action reports, as well as customer presentations regarding technical and systemic analysis and resolution of customer issues.
• Gather valuable data from Quality Assurance meetings and report key performance indicators during management and team meetings.
