Role Summary
Our client connects content creators and their communities with local tour operators worldwide. We’re looking for a proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to manage accurate, timely payments to vendors, tour operators, and hosts, while investigating discrepancies and collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor bills and prepare payments using Ramp and NetSuite.
- Validate operator invoices and calculate host earnings using Sigma reports.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with operators and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and reconciliations.
- Support month-end close and improve payment procedures.
- Prepare payment batches for management review and approval.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, AP, AR, or staff accounting.
- Experience with accounting software and strong accounting fundamentals.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking.
- Ability to investigate issues independently and learn new systems.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, or Sigma.
- Direct AP and international or multi-currency payments experience.
- Accounting degree or relevant professional studies.
