Job Summary We are expanding our healthcare operations team and immediately hiring a sharp, reliable Medical Biller/Coder. This role is responsible for translating medical procedures into precise codes, processing billing records, managing insurance claims, and resolving discrepancies in a fast-paced environment. This full-time permanent position offers stable hours, remote work flexibility, and long-term career growth.

Core Responsibilities

- Medical Coding: Translate patient charts, diagnoses, and medical procedures into standardized alphanumeric codes (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) to ensure compliance and proper reimbursement.
- Accurate Billing Processing: Review and process medical billing records, and assist with insurance claims submission and payment tracking.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Examine coding errors, unpaid claims,



and billing discrepancies, working proactively to resolve issues promptly and prevent denials.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate professionally with internal clinical teams, insurance providers, and patients to verify information and resolve inquiries.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in medical billing, medical coding, or U.S. healthcare insurance. Direct experience applying medical codes in a professional healthcare setting is required.
- Language: Advanced English verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong collaborative ability, receptive to feedback, and comfortable communicating project updates.
- Core Abilities: Bilingual in English and Spanish, strong organizational and multitasking skills, high attention to detail, and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Location: Must currently reside in Latin America.
