This co-op/internship position offers a hands‑on opportunity to contribute to the development and support of innovative detection systems within Valeo Sistemas Electronicos. You will gain valuable experience in a fast‑paced automotive technology environment.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software for detection systems (e.g., radar, camera, lidar).
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in existing software and hardware.
- Support the integration of detection systems into larger automotive platforms.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications and test plans.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform data analysis and contribute to performance optimization efforts.




- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to detection systems.

Job Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of programming concepts, with experience in C++ or Python preferred.
- Familiarity with embedded systems or real‑time operating systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of sensor technologies (e.g., radar, camera, ultrasonic) and signal processing is advantageous.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for automotive technology and a desire to learn.
