About the Opportunity

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a New Projects Manager to lead the successful launch of new products and strategic operational initiatives.

This role is responsible for managing projects from concept through production launch, ensuring the achievement of quality, cost, timing, and customer requirements. The idóneo candidate combines strong project management skills with deep knowledge of automotive quality systems and product launch methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead new product launch activities from project planning through production implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Manage APQP activities and customer launch requirements.
- Coordinate PPAP submissions and approval processes.
- Evaluate technical, operational, and financial feasibility of new projects.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers throughout program execution.
- Support process development, documentation, and production readiness activities.
- Monitor project performance and provide status updates to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives across project activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.





Experience

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading new product launches and project implementation.
- Experience working in automotive or highly regulated manufacturing industries.

- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

Additional Technical Requirements

- Engineering drawing interpretation.
- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Advanced project planning and execution.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- MS Project.
- Intermediate to Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of Quality System Standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
- Lean Manufacturing.
- Six Sigma methodologies.
- VDA 6.3.
- IMDS.
- PMP Certification.
- AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of machining, welding, and manufacturing processes.
