As a Fixed Assets Analyst at Siemens Energy, your day will involve supporting daily operations by managing cash transactions and ensuring accurate month-end closing activities in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting issues, process fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, retirements physical inventory follow up, internal & external audit attendance and support month-end, quarter- end and year-end closing activities. How You’ll Make an Impact
Manage fixed asset master data, including creation, maintenance, and modifications; process asset capitalization while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and useful life requirements; execute and monitor monthly depreciation runs and related analyses.
Process fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, retirements, and write-offs, including intercompany and intracompany asset transfers; maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Subledger with General Ledger balances.
Manage Assets Under Construction (AUC), including monitoring, capitalization,



and settlement activities; support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Prepare fixed asset reports, roll forwards, and depreciation analyses; coordinate and support physical asset inventories and asset verification processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS/GAAP requirements, and company policies; support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to fixed assets.
Maintain process documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives; collaborate with Local Accounting, Regional Accounting, Project Management, Procurement, and other stakeholders regarding fixed asset transactions.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in Fixed Assets Accounting.
Preferably 2- 4 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting, Finance Operations, or related accounting functions.
Basic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards, with an understanding of their application in fixed asset accounting processes.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, along with a good understanding of business processes within SAP.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to support operational and accounting decision-making; advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required.
Power BI and data analysis knowledge are considered a plus and will support reporting, process optimization, and financial insights.
