About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Java Support Engineer to join our application support team in an L2/L3 capacity. The adecuado candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java 8/17, Unix/Linux, SQL, coding, and application troubleshooting, along with a proactive approach to production support.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving application issues, supporting the reliability and performance of critical systems, automating manual processes, and working closely with development, management, users, and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment,



diagnosing complex technical issues, writing code when required, and driving issues through to resolution.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems, maintaining a proactive approach to monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex application and technical issues using strong Java, Unix/Linux, and SQL skills.
- Develop and enhance Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system scalability, reliability, availability, and performance.
- Investigate production incidents, assess business impact, manage incidents through resolution, and communicate effectively with users and stakeholders.
- Escalate complex issues to development and management teams with clear technical analysis and supporting information.
