We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design and build secure backend services and REST APIs for an asset movement platform in a wealth management domain. You will collaborate in an Agile team across engineering, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable microservices. Apply to help drive high-quality delivery
Responsibilities
• Design secure backend services and API contracts for platform capabilities
• Build backend microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain high-quality code aligned with engineering standards
• Conduct code review to ensure readability, security, and maintainability
• Implement unit tests and support automated quality practices in CI
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to support reliable releases and operations
• Estimate development tasks and contribute to planning and delivery commitments
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and align on sprint goals and progress
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in Java development in production environments
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem for backend services
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and development for secure services
• Solid project experience with Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and planning
• Strong hard skills in microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and CI practices
