Anyone AI is recruiting experienced Python Software Engineers for a series of paid, project-based engagements with a leading AI lab .
You'll work on clearly scoped software engineering projects involving real-world codebases and development challenges. Projects may include debugging, feature development, refactoring, migrations, testing, and technical review.
This is a strong fit for experienced engineers looking for flexible, remote project work alongside other professional commitments .
What We're Looking For
- 2-7 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Working knowledge of at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or Go
- Backend or full-stack experience with production systems
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing
- Ability to confidently navigate and debug large, multi-file codebases
- Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations
- Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
What You'll Work On
- Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases
- Implement new backend or full-stack functionality
- Refactor and migrate existing systems
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites
- Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations
- Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes
- Validate that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are aligned
