We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Engineer to ensure our products, processes, and operations meet regulatory, industry, and corporate compliance standards. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify regulatory requirements, conduct testing, maintain documentation, and support product certifications. The Compliance Engineer will play a key role in risk mitigation and ensuring product and operational integrity.General Responsibilities

- Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications)
- Direct interaction with customers to solicit product specifications requirements, schedule expectations and budget
- Corrosion research and welding characterization & has a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, mechanics, fluid, thermo and heat transfer
- Advanced knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly, statistical methods, process control fundamentals and product test processes
- Familiarity with manufacturing methods – welding, brazing, soldering, adhesive bonding, machining, stamping, molding, and forming. Basic knowledge of core manufacturing processes
- Lead mechanical design activities while participating on cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) teams




- Assist with design prototype builds and production validation activities in collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and supply
- Familiarity with design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handlingExperience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.E. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience

work with third-party certification bodies, and oversee regulatory approvals.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain compliance documentation, test reports, technical files, and regulatory submissions.Risk Assessment & Mitigation:Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential issues.Product Development Support: Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements early in the design phase.Audits & Inspections: Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.Process Improvement: Develop and implement compliance-related policies, procedures, and training to enhance organizational adherence to regulations.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry groups to stay informed of changing compliance requirements.Qualifications & Skills:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field preferredExperience: In compliance engineering, regulatory affairs,quality or product certification.Knowledge: Familiarity with general compliance regulations (e.G., UL, CSA, FCC, CE, ISO 9001/14001, REACH, RoHS).Technical Skills: Experience with compliance testing, laboratory environments, and regulatory documentation.Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.Tools:Proficiency in compliance software, document management systems, and engineering tools.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in industries such as industrial, electronics, aerospace, or automotive.
