We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the monthly financial close process, prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, analyze financial variances, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting a fast-paced, integral organization.
What You'll Do
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries and accruals.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze financial results and explain variances between actual and forecasted balances.
- Support intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting and consolidation activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting compliance and accuracy.
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and financial analyses as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting,
account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication skills (mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA, IMCP, or equivalent accounting certification.
- Experience in a multinational or global organization.
- Public accounting experience.
- Experience within the software or technology industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Cognos.
