Breakfast Cook & Guest Host La Morada Condesa – Mexico City

Salary: $11,000 MXN per month

Schedule: Sunday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Day off: Saturday

On-site position La Morada Condesa is a small, five-room bed & breakfast in Condesa.

We are looking for someone who can be both a breakfast cook and a guest host.

You do not need to be a professional chef, but you should know how to cook well, enjoy working with food, and genuinely enjoy taking care of people.

Because we only have five rooms, everything is personal. We know our guests, talk to them, help them enjoy Mexico City, and want them to feel like they are staying in a beautiful home where someone is genuinely happy to have them there.

The job

Your morning is focused on breakfast and hosting.

You should be comfortable preparing simple Mexican breakfasts while talking with guests, learning their names, asking about their plans, and helping with recommendations or anything they may need.

Once breakfast is over and guests leave for the day, the focus shifts to preparing for tomorrow and helping the house run smoothly.

This includes

- Preparing ingredients for the next day's breakfast.
- Checking supplies and making grocery lists.
- Ordering from the market or purchasing what is needed.
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
- Answering emails, WhatsApp messages, and reservation questions.
- Helping with reservations, check-outs, and payments when needed.
- Coordinating with housekeeping.
- Checking rooms and common areas.




- Following up on maintenance issues.
- Helping with other guest or house needs when necessary.

We are looking for someone who thinks ahead and doesn't always need to be told what comes next. Who we are looking for

English is required Fluent conversational English is essential for this position. Basic English is not enough.

Most of our guests are international, and you will interact with them directly every day. You must be able to comfortably hold conversations, answer questions, give recommendations, explain things, write messages and emails, and help solve problems in English.

Hospitality experience is highly preferred. Experience in restaurants, cafés, catering, hotels, or guest service is also valuable.

Working at La Morada is different from working in a large hotel. There is no separate person for every task. One moment you may be preparing breakfast, the next helping a guest with a restaurant recommendation or getting things ready for the following morning.
