Join the Hotel Operations & Guest Services Team onboard a world-class cruise ship and become the face of hospitality at sea. These are highly competitive roles that require strong service skills, professional grooming, and excellent communication.
Important note: These positions are not very common, and available openings can take time.
Even after passing your interview, embarkation may take 4 to 8 months, depending on the cruise line’s operational needs and vessel rotations.
Responsibilities(depending on position)
Front Desk / Guest Services
- Provide exceptional guest assistance at Reception
- Handle onboard check-in/check-out
- Resolve guest inquiries in a professional, timely manner
- Manage billing, onboard accounts, and payments
- Coordinate with multiple departments to meet guest needs
- Maintain consistent service quality based on brand standards
Butler / Concierge
- Deliver personalized service to suite and VIP guests
- Assist with reservations, event planning, and in-suite dining and beverages
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences
- Ensure premium hospitality and confidentiality
- Maintain premium grooming and luxury service etiquette

REQUIREMENTS
Required Before Interview
- English CV in Harvard format (PDF)
- Professional photo
- Official work reference (minimum one)
- Valid passport (or proof you’re applying for one)
- Chef portfolio (photos of dishes) highly recommended
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent guest-facing experience in:
- Hotels (4–5 stars)
- Front Desk / Concierge
- Luxury hospitality
- Guest relations
- Butler service
Advanced English (mandatory) Excellent communication and service recovery skills
Experience with multicultural guests and fast-paced environments
Ability to commit to 6–8 month contracts onboard
Professional grooming, discipline, and emotional intelligence
Preferred Skills
- Opera, Fidelio, or PMS experience
- Luxury hotel background
- Butler training
- Additional languages
- Cruise ship experience (plus, not required)
