The Opportunity

You’ll own Open English’s Business to Government segment, bringing together strategy, sales, and customer operations: from identifying opportunities and closing agreements to delivering successful programs and earning renewals.

We’re looking for someone with a strategy and operations foundation who has also owned commercial results and customer delivery. You’ll set priorities and make consequential business decisions while personally advancing deals, building business cases, and resolving operational problems.

You should bring the experience to own a business segment and the appetite to stay close to the work. Success means growing revenue, delivering on customer commitments, and building a profitable, repeatable operation.

This Could Be a Fit If

- You’ve turned strategy into measurable results,



with direct accountability for implementation.
- You’ve personally developed proposals, negotiated agreements, and closed complex sales.
- You’ve owned or improved customer onboarding, delivery, account management, or renewals.
- You connect revenue, pricing, costs, and customer outcomes to make sound business decisions.
- You build credibility with senior stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making. Government or institutional sales experience is valuable.
- You’re hands-on, create structure amid ambiguity, and follow through.

- You expect to delegate execution while focusing primarily on strategy and oversight.
- Your experience stops at recommendations or at closing the sale.
- You need established processes and a fully staffed team before making progress.
