HIRING: Junior Project Manager (Marketing Agency Experience Preferred)

AdSumo Digital helps ecommerce brands grow through email and retention marketing. We’re looking for an organized, proactive Junior Project Manager to keep client work moving and help our team deliver consistently high-quality campaigns.

About the Role

This is a full-time remote position for Junior Project Managers

You’ll work directly with an Account Manager, typically supporting three to six client accounts. The Account Manager is responsible for client strategy and performance. Your responsibility is to keep the execution running smoothly: timelines, dependencies, approvals, handoffs, and quality control. The glue that keeps things together and moving.

At any point, you should be able to know and explain what’s due, what’s holding it up, and who needs to take action, and who owes what. You’ll follow up on missing brand assets, outstanding platform access, and overdue client approvals. You’ll keep feedback within the agreed number of revision rounds and complete the final checks before campaigns reach our clients customers’ inboxes.

This is a role for someone who finds genuine satisfaction in an organized system and is quietly relentless about deadlines.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Keeping every account ahead of schedule. Maintain campaign calendars and coordinate production so every brand stays a full week ahead of its send dates. That lead time is one of the most important factors in delivering quality work.
- Following dependencies through to completion. Track brand assets, platform credentials, integration access, and client sign-off. Every outstanding item should have a clear owner and deadline, with consistent follow-up until it’s received.
- Managing approvals and feedback. Send work to clients for review, bring their feedback together, and keep revisions within the agreed number of rounds. Escalate to the Account Manager when delayed client input puts a deadline at risk.
- Moving work through each production stage.



Coordinate briefs, copy, design, builds, and scheduling across the account, creative, and technical teams. Make sure work keeps moving and nothing gets stuck between handoffs.
- Keeping communication connected. Slack is central to how we work, and you’ll spend much of your day there. Keep conversations moving between the Account Manager, designers, copywriters, and technical team. Respond promptly and follow requests through so they don’t remain unanswered or unresolved.
- Running quality-control checks. Complete structured checks before campaigns are scheduled, including audience and exclusion segments, links, discount codes, preview text, rendering, and proofreading.
- Supporting client meetings. Prepare agendas and supporting materials before calls. Afterwards, capture action items and their owners, record commitments, and follow up to make sure they’re completed.
- Maintaining reliable account records. Keep account documentation, trackers, and internal databases accurate and current so project status is clear and handovers are smooth.

Qualifications

- Fluent, high-level written and spoken English. This is not negotiable. You will be writing directly to clients and senior team members every day, and your writing needs to be precise, professional and error-free.
- Slack-native. Our entire business runs in Slack you will spend the majority of your working day in it. You need to be genuinely responsive there, comfortable holding several threads at once, and disciplined about closing conversations out rather than letting them drift.
- Strong project coordination skills, scheduling, prioritization, and deadline management across several concurrent workflows




- Genuinely exceptional organization and attention to detail; you notice the thing that is missing
- Comfortable following up persistently without being prompted, chasing people needs to land as helpful rather than nagging
- Experience with quality control or proofing processes
- Able to work independently and stay accountable in a fully remote environment
- Working hours with meaningful overlap with US business hours
- Familiarity with e-commerce, digital marketing, or email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo is an advantage, but not required, we train
- Experience with project management and documentation tools (ClickUp, Asana, Notion or similar)
