About The Role

We are building our own sales team from scratch in Mexico City. We are looking for the first people on the team: people who want to get into the drinks industry and learn to sell from the inside.

You don't need sales or industry experience. We teach you the portfolio, how to present it and how to open accounts.

You'll be out in the city—visiting restaurants and bars, talking with servers, bartenders and managers, pouring tastings of our brands and following up until you get the order. You'll also use Instagram, WhatsApp and social media content to open doors.

If you like people, food, and drinks and want to learn sales, marketing, and how a spirits brand works, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

- Visit restaurants, bars, hotels and shops in CDMX to present MGx brands
- Run tastings and support events and activations
- Reach prospects via Instagram, WhatsApp, calls, and email
- Follow up with each client until the order closes, then secure the reorder
- Log your visits and follow-ups in our CRM (HubSpot)
- Share what you see in the market: what clients ask for, what competitors do
- Contribute content and marketing ideas for the brands

- You're charismatic, easy to be around, and good at reading people
- You're consistent:

- You're comfortable with social media and digital tools
- You're interested in spirits, wine, and hospitality
- You live in CDMX and can move around the city
- You’re of legal drinking age
- You’re available for some afternoons, evenings, or events

Bonus, Not a Requirement

- Studying or recently graduated in business, marketing, communications, gastronomy, hospitality, or a related field
- Experience in restaurants, bars, events or customer service
- Conversational English
- Previous experience in sales (e.g., a side project, small business, etc.)

1. Screening interview with our Business Development Lead (in Spanish)
2. Practical exercise: a real outreach to a prospective account, so we can see how you handle it
3. Final interview with senior leadership
