About the Role

At Leviton , we are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE) to drive process quality, manufacturing capability, and continuous improvement across our production operations. This role will serve as the process quality owner, working cross-functionally to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while preventing defects at the source.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and improve manufacturing process performance and capability.
- Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, process validation, and error-proofing initiatives.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and chronic defect reduction projects.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Improve FPY, reduce scrap and rework, increase OEE,



and optimize cycle times.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to achieve plant goals.
- Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience in process optimization, validation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with molding, stamping, or assembly processes.
- Knowledge of automation, industrial engineering, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing transfers or start-ups.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, MSA, and Gage R&R;

This position is onsite and is located in our manufacturing plant in Camargo, Chihuahua.
