MES Engineer | Remote — Mexico ??

First Point Group is supporting an international digital manufacturing solutions provider in its search for a MES Engineer.

In this role, you will design, implement, and support Manufacturing Execution Systems, working closely with clients and technical teams on international projects.

? Location: Remote, based in Mexico

? Employment type: Full-time, permanent

? Fluent English required

Your responsibilities

- Gather client requirements, assess existing systems, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain MES applications and integrations.
- Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and data flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver technical milestones.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Train end users and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

What we’re looking for

- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



or a related field.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting MES solutions in manufacturing environments.

• Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Siemens Opcenter , Insights Hub, Mendix, Ignition, Sepasoft, Critical Manufacturing, iBaseT, FactoryTalk/Plex, or Factorise.

• Strong C# programming skills and experience with .NET 8 or later.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entity Framework and familiarity with OData/REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, or Angular.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
- Fluent English for collaboration with international teams and customers.

Experience in automotive, aerospace, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, or semiconductor manufacturing is relevant to this role.
