About Passport

Passport is a modern international shipping carrier built for e-commerce brands such as Bombas, Native, Ritual, and Seed. Its asset-light logistics network, technology, and customer support let U.S. brands ship to consumers around the world without the usual cross-border headaches. The company is growing fast and works with some of the best-known direct-to-consumer brands.

About the role

Passport's Commercial team is hiring a Pricing Analyst to own cost analysis and routing execution for its international delivery network. You'll analyze shipment, carrier rate, and routing data in Excel, quantify the cost and transit-time impact of routing options, and turn approved decisions into routing rules and rate tables. Then you'll coordinate with other teams to validate the changes and make sure they go live correctly.

This is an analysis-heavy role: most of your time goes to cost and rate work, and routing updates are the follow-through. You'll report to the Senior Director, Commercial, and work closely with Operations, Product, and Engineering.

What you'll do

- Analyze shipment and routing performance by country, carrier, service, zone, weight, cost, transit time, and surcharges
- Validate carrier and vendor rate cards and flag cost changes
- Compare routing options and quantify the expected cost, transit-time, service, and operational impact to support network and customer decisions
- Update pricing models and support pricing requests using Passport's Rates Management System and pricing templates
- Own routing implementation: convert approved network decisions into routing rules, rate tables, and system-ready files, test the outputs, and resolve gaps before changes go live
- Monitor results after each routing change, investigate unexpected cost or service outcomes, and recommend practical corrections
- Document routing logic, controls, and recurring workflows so the work is accurate and repeatable

Must-haves

- Hands-on experience with transportation, parcel, or logistics cost analysis (carrier rate cards, shipment data, surcharges, routing or lane costs)
- Advanced Excel for modeling and data manipulation: lookups, pivot tables, and working with large shipment datasets
- Understanding of carrier cost structures, rate cards, service options, and how routing choices affect cost, transit time, and the customer
- High accuracy with rate tables, routing rules,

and cost models; you test edge cases and catch gaps before launch
- Able to coordinate with other teams to implement and validate changes, and to escalate decisions that need commercial or network approval
- Clear communicator: you can explain cost drivers, risks, and recommendations to non-analysts
- Curious about using AI tools to speed up analysis and modeling (experience is a plus; willingness to use them day to day is expected)
- Professional-level spoken and written English
- Based in Mexico

Nice-to-haves

- SQL for working with large datasets
- Experience with a rates management system or pricing templates
- Background in cross-border or e-commerce shipping
