Kyungshin Cable Mexico is a company specialized in the manufacturing of automotive wiring harnesses and electrical components, supporting the automotive industry through high-quality manufacturing processes and global quality standards.

We are currently looking for a Product Engineer to join our Engineering team in Gómez Palacio, Durango.

This position will be responsible for maintaining product information and Bills of Materials (BOMs), coordinating engineering changes, supporting product validation from prototype through mass production, and identifying opportunities to improve product designs and manufacturing efficiency.

Location: Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico

Work arrangement: On-site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain and keep Bills of Materials (BOMs) updated in the system.
- Coordinate and lead the implementation of Engineering Changes related to products and manufacturing requirements.
- Validate products during prototype and mass production stages.
- Request and follow up on part numbers for new components.
- Analyze product designs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Request and coordinate product design improvements when necessary.
- Calculate, review, and maintain standard production times.
- Support product implementation and engineering activities throughout the different stages of production.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and other departments to ensure proper implementation of product requirements.
- Support problem-solving activities related to product design and manufacturing processes.




- Ensure engineering documentation and product information remain accurate and updated.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering and manufacturing process design.
- Experience in automotive wiring harness manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Understanding of engineering changes and product implementation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Availability to work flexible hours.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a Product Engineer with a strong manufacturing background who can effectively manage product information, engineering changes, and product validation activities throughout the manufacturing process.

The adecuado candidate will be organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable working with different departments to ensure product requirements are correctly implemented from prototype development through mass production.

Experience within the automotive wiring harness industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Sueldo: $20,000.00 - $22,000.00 al mes
