We are hiring a Bilingual Medical Intake Specialist to provide remote patient support for a pain management clinic based in California, USA. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in customer service, call center operations, healthcare administration, or medical virtual assistance who are fluent in both English and Spanish.

You will communicate with patients over the phone, collect their medical histories, document health information, and assist with the initial patient intake process. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can handle sensitive information with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Conduct telephone-based and virtual patient intake interviews to collect medical histories and relevant health information.
- Gather and document patient-reported symptoms, previous diagnoses, treatment history, and family medical history.
- Handle inbound calls from patients and provide courteous, professional assistance.
- Communicate with Spanish- and English-speaking patients to facilitate a clear and efficient intake process.
- Explain intake procedures and answer general questions about patient information requirements.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain complete, organized patient records.
- Protect confidential patient information and follow established privacy and documentation procedures.

Qualifications

- Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is required.
- At least one year of experience in customer service,



call center operations, or a phone-based support role.
- Experience in medical administration, patient services, healthcare BPO, medical reception, or virtual medical assistance is an advantage.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient documentation is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 50 Mbps.
- Personal computer with an Intel Core i5 processor and at least 8 GB RAM.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, according to the assigned schedule.
