Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Lead / SAP IBP Consultant & Architect to lead an assessment of the organization’s demand planning and forecasting capabilities and define a future-state technology vision and roadmap.

The role will combine business process assessment, SAP IBP expertise, stakeholder leadership, and solution architecture to identify current pain points, capability gaps, and opportunities for transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall TBD, including stakeholder management, workshops, and business problem definition.
- Assess current SAP IBP capabilities, configuration, usage, and gaps.
- Review demand planning and forecasting processes, including forecast generation, decision-making, and handoffs.
- Assess demand sensing, seasonality, promotions, and related forecasting capabilities.
- Connect business, process, data, and system findings to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Identify and prioritize key SAP IBP use cases and transformation opportunities.




- Define the potential future-state role of SAP IBP within the broader planning landscape.
- Develop a future-state technology vision and transformation roadmap.
- Present findings, recommendations, priorities, and next steps to business and technology stakeholders.

Required Experience

- Strong experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), particularly **Demand Planning and Forecasting.
- Hands-on understanding of SAP IBP capabilities, configuration, integration, and solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, demand sensing, seasonality, and promotional planning.
- Experience leading business/process assessments and translating business challenges into technology solutions.
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Experience defining future-state architectures, use cases, and transformation roadmaps.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contractor engagement.
