Dutch Clean Tech develops, finances, builds and operates wastewater treatment and drinking water projects. Through its Build Own Operate model, the company takes responsibility for both construction and the long-term operation of its facilities. To support the development and future delivery of its projects in Mexico, Dutch Clean Tech is seeking a Senior Project Manager who combines project coordination, technical understanding, financial control and strong local execution capabilities..

Purpose of the role

You are responsible for coordinating the development and maturation of Dutch Clean Tech’s assigned projects in Mexico, from initial opportunity assessment and technical definition through permitting, contract preparation, financial close and readiness for execution.

Under the direction of the General Director Mexico, you coordinate the technical, contractual, financial and administrative workstreams required to move projects forward. You ensure that each project has a clearly defined scope, reliable supporting information, an integrated schedule, clear responsibilities and the documentation required for internal approvals, client negotiations and investment decisions.

As projects move into execution, you coordinate the transition from project development to construction, commissioning and operations

Position within the organisation

Based in Mexico City, you report directly to the General Director Mexico and act as the coordination link between the local project organisation and the technical,



financial and operational teams in the Netherlands.

You work closely with engineering, finance, legal advisers, external consultants, local partners and other project stakeholders. You coordinate the project workstreams and provide functional guidance to the internal and external parties involved.

Commercial strategy, institutional relationships, negotiations with clients and partners, and final business decisions remain under the responsibility of the General Director Mexico

Project development and contract coordination

· Develop, maintain and monitor integrated project development plans covering scope,, budgets, deliverables , milestones, responsabilities, dependencies andrisks.

· Coordinate the technical, legal, financial, environmental and administrative workstreams required to advance each project.

· Review project requirements and support the preparation of scopes of work, proposals, contracts and supporting documentation.

· Maintain clear project records, action lists, decision logs, risk registers and document control.

· Monitor agreements, commitments and deliverables from consultants, partners and other project participants.

· Identify deviations, unresolved matters and decisions required, and escalate them promptly to the General Director Mexico.

· Prepare project information and supporting materials for client, partner and internal discussions, under the direction of the General Director Mexico.
