Overview: We are seeking an strategic and collaborative Sourcing Category Service Manager specializing in Indirect Sourcing. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a strong track record of developing and implementing global procurement strategies, optimizing spend, and managing product or service categories within indirect services. They will possess negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supplier relationship management, and the ability to drive significant cost savings and efficiencies across diverse business environments.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

- Indirect Category Management:



Proven expertise in managing a broad range of indirect service categories, including but not limited to:
- Facilities Management (HVAC, MRO, roofing, maintenance, Integrated Facility Management - IFM)
- Industrial Services, Shared Services, and Logistics
- Maintenance and Shop supplies (MRO).
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Ability to develop, implement, and lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for indirect services in the United States. This includes extensive experience with RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Demonstrated success in leading complex multi-year contract negotiations, establishing optimal contractual terms (payment terms, pricing, SLAs), and ensuring strong documentation for transparency and consistency.
- Cost Optimization & Savings: A strong focus on driving cost savings, cost avoidance, and total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions through competitive bidding, supplier consolidation, price standardization, and strategic sourcing strategies.
- Supplier Relationship & Performance Management: Skilled in developing robust supplier panels, fostering strong business partnerships, and implementing programs for continuous improvement in supplier performance (Quality, Delivery, Cost).
- Global Experience:



Experience operating in the United States and/or integral procurement environments and managing international suppliers.
- Process Improvement & Tools: Capable of creating and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Financial Acumen & Data Analysis: Proficient in spend analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and achieve business targets.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales) to align procurement objectives with organizational goals.

Desired Experience Level: Typically, 7-10 years in procurement, with a significant focus on indirect sourcing and category management, preferably in a global. Multinational or large enterprise setting.
