Sr. Business Analyst / QA Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / QA Analyst to support the development and delivery of business applications. This is a hybrid role that combines business analysis, functional QA, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate has strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing processes, creating user stories, executing functional testing, managing defects, and supporting UAT within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document workflows, requirements, and business needs.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into application features and detailed user stories.
- Create and maintain user stories and requirements in Jira.
- Ensure requirements are traceable to business objectives and test cases.
- Create functional test cases based on expected application behavior.
- Execute manual, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Document test results and report, track, and prioritize defects.
- Work with developers to reproduce, investigate, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and business teams during Agile sprints.
- Support beta testing, product releases, hypercare, and post-launch adoption.
- Assist with change management activities, including training materials, user guidance, and communications.
- Help identify project risks and define mitigation strategies.
- Partner with business users to troubleshoot issues and provide guidance on application usage.




- Collaborate with QA Engineers to identify opportunities for test automation.

Requirements
- 8+ years of combined experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, and workflow documentation.
- Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience with Jira.
- Experience creating and executing functional test cases.
- Experience with manual testing, regression testing, defect management, and UAT.
- Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work within project deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting and financial concepts.
- Understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies.
- Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Playwright or other test automation tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing and test automation strategies.
- Experience with change management, training, or content creation.
- Experience supporting beta testing, hypercare, or post-launch adoption.
- Experience in professional services, sports, media, or entertainment industries.
