Store Design and Merchandising Manager at

Edgexecution Corp leads the structural design and visual execution of high-profile permanent merchandising activations mainly inside integral travel hubs (airports, duty-free zones, and cruise lines). Utilizing your architectural background

, you will transform creative concepts into buildable, structurally sound, and commercially optimized spaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Experiential Architectural Design:

Draft technical architectural drawings, 3D renderings, and construction documents for Wallbays, gondolas, pop-ups and brand activations using

AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit

.

- Travel Retail Compliance:

Ensure all installations comply with strict retailer regulations, including fire-retardant material requirements, structural weight limits, and security screening parameters.

- Immersive Visual Merchandising:

Design or adapt high-impact unit displays and storytelling zones that capture traveling consumers and brand awareness.

- Vendor & Millwork Management:

Source, vet, and manage global fabrication vendors and local contractors to oversee the production, transport, and night-time installation of modular fixtures.

- Client & Operator Relations:





Present technical design drawings and layouts to brand teams and secure formal spatial approvals from international airport authorities and duty-free operators.

- Agile Project Management:

Lead fast-paced project lifecycles from initial conceptual sketches through production, logistics, deployment, and eventual dismantle.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education:

Bachelor’s degree in

Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Structural Design is highly preferred.

- Experience:

6 to 8 years in retail design or experiential marketing. Proven portfolio of executed

Travel Retail / Duty-Free installations is preferred.

- Technical Skills:

Advanced mastery of

AutoCAD, 3D modeling software (Rhino, SketchUp, or Revit)

, and the

Adobe Creative Suite

.

- Industry Acumen:

Strong familiarity with permanent and temporary construction materials, modular fabrication techniques, and airport technical operational frameworks.

- Attributes:

A fast-paced problem solver capable of managing tight agency deadlines, fluid client briefs, and complex international logistics.

- Mobility:

Flexibility to travel internationally (approx. 20%) to oversee critical on-site builds and activation launches.
