Job Description
The Sr. Procurement Buyer will be responsible for purchasing goods, raw materials and services; ensure the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery and to make sure the continuity of supply. You will hold responsibility for a specific project/region/business or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing. You will negotiate midsize value contracts, complex requirements and meeting internal client objectives while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness. You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external vendors.

Responsibilities

Frontline supplier management

Responsible to place POs, managed acknowledgment, managed changes in PPVs, do spot buys for delivery related issues

Responsible to track shipments and make sure material gets to the site on time

Working directly with material planners in order to execute scheduling changes and deliver forecast to suppliers

Supplier lead time owner

Coordinating work with suppliers, risk management and Business Unit partners on commercial issues, terms and conditions and specifications

Ensure that purchased materials are aligned with operational needs, considering cost, quality and timeliness of delivery ensuring continuity of supply

Ordering of all materials and components due to changes in customer demand,



inventory discrepancies, or rejects to ensure the efficient running of production lines

Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement

Assist in resolving basic discrepancies, commercial issues, change orders, or cancellations related to purchase orders

Ensuring suppliers have acknowledged PO’s, follow up for past due, unconfirmed and execution for exception messages

Invoice resolution – delivery related, PO management issues, delegated pricing or T&C; issues

Ensuring to maintain 100% of supplier contact accuracy

Drive purchasing operations metrics improvement

Drive automation / digital connections with suppliers

Participate in daily Tier meetings and operations reviews

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree

2 + year of experience with SAP

5 + years of Purchasing experience, Supply Chain operations and Manufacturing operations

Fluent English
