Job Title: CAD Engineer

Location: Monterrey, Mexico

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Activities

- Designs and draws technical solutions (sketches, sections, partial models, global models, overall dimensions, tooling/assembly kinematics)
- Generatesthe CAD filesin accordance withE&L; CADmethodologyand CAD specifications of both customer and E&L.;
- VerifiesCAD file quality byutilizingspecific customer file checkers used by customer tools to check CAD file quality.
- ManagesCAD files flow.
- Namesthe CAD files in TDMin accordance withthe rules defined by E&L.;
- Updatesparts attributes in PDM (volume, theoretical weight, projected area, painted area).
- Updatesmodels based on technical feasibility studies.
- Usesthe OP Design Standard library, TESIS, during the design & construction of CAD models, and provides feedback to EPM and Design Leader.
- Performsvarious checks on his 3D models to ensuregood qualityof the final product (interferences by DMU checks, A-surface analysis of visible parts…)
- Worksclosely with EPM / Design Leader and extended teams (Tooling Expert Department, CAE Engineer,MoldflowEngineer, etc…).
- Participatesin integrating new CAD Engineers.

Desired Profile

Bachelordegree with experience or mechanical engineeringmasterdegree





Knowledge of Basic plastic rules, basic mechanicals rules, able to build and check product under CAD softwaresystem ;able to lead CAD 3D and 2Dactivities
